South Beach Port Denison
Has been used for nude swimming FKK since the 60s and 70s. Go south along the beach away from the cafe for at least 1 km. You can drive on the beach in a 2WD as the sand is very hard. Beautiful clear water and white sand most of the year, especially good in spring and autumn, (Aug - Oct and March - May) can be very windy in summer, mornings are best or have a windbreak! Huge kitesurfing crowds in summer because of the reliable strong southerly winds. This is not a legal nude beach but a well known unofficial free beach.
