Frequented by nudists. Nudist group tried to get Bonita Springs to make it an official nude beach. Conflicting info on the results. May still be unofficial. Bonita Springs may have responded by trying to stamp out nudity at this location. Can only be reached by boat, but that includes kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards from the bay side. Motor boats and pontoons can make it, but would be more difficult due to the shallow water on the bay side (and tides) as well as potential rough waters on the gulf side and difficulty navigating the channels to the gulf. Rental pontoons and motorboats are often not permitted to go through the channels into the gulf.
